Loesser wrote not only a perfect Broadway show, Guys & Dolls, and a ton of great songs – “Heart And Soul”, “Slow Boat To China”, “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” - but also one of a very very select number of New Year standards. For this solo take on the song, Mark begins with the less well known verse, and some spooky midnight chimes from pianist Andy Vinter. Oh, and don't miss Jessica Martin's response to Mark's musical question in her solo "The Perfect Year". These two New Year songs make a terrific twofer.
