"Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" is one of the oldest American Christmas songs, written by J Fred Coots and Haven Gillespie in 1934 and premiered by Eddie Cantor on his Thanksgiving radio show that year. Coots & Gillespie later wrote the beautiful ballad "You Go To My Head". Mark & Jessica's version starts with a little-known verse to "Santa Claus" and takes a detour through J Fred Coots' second seasonal song, "He'll Be Coming Down The Chimney".
